Worked at the ABN AMRO Bank from 1980 to the end of 1982. From 1982 he worked as a lawyer at the biggest law firm in the Netherlands. In 1985 he set up his own offices, specializing in information and computer law.

Publications
Several publications, mainly in the field of information and computer law. Co-author of Wegwijzer Automatisering en recht (Guide to Automation and Law); co-author of Werken met Source Code Escrow (Working with Source Code Escrow), published by Kluwer Rechtswetenschappen in 1990. Speaker at seminars.
